As one of the top companies in the livestock and food processing industry in Vietnam, CPV says it is dedicated to sustainable packaging management within its supply chain.
The company aims to achieve 100 per cent recyclable, reusable, or compostable food packaging by 2030 while eliminating problematic or unnecessary packaging. By the end of last year, CPV had already achieved over 90 per cent of its plastic reduction target within the food production and business sector.
Additionally, the company continues to introduce initiatives to minimise plastic use in its operations. CPV has implemented the use of bulk feed tanks to transport feed directly from production sites to farms. This approach ensures high-quality feed delivery to farmers and reduces over 2,000 tonnes of plastic waste annually. Furthermore, CPV uses reusable V-plus containers to transport shrimp post-larvae from farms to customers, replacing plastic bags.
With its continuing efforts in innovation and a commitment to advancing sustainable solutions for environmental protection, CPV hopes that joining the PRO Vietnam network will enable the company to work alongside other businesses to create a positive impact, build a greener future, and promote the circular economy of packaging recycling in Vietnam for a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful Vietnam.
