Hanoi People's Committee has approved the detailed planning for the central axis of Quang An Peninsula, covering Quang An and Tu Lien wards in Tay Ho district, Hanoi.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan signed Decision No.6132/QD-UBND on November 28, approving the detailed planning for the central axis of Quang An Peninsula.
Photo: hanoi.gov.vnThe plan focuses on forming a green tree axis, entertainment areas, a spiritual cultural park, a themed cultural and artistic park, including constructing one large, modern theatre representative of the capital. It will feature a public landscape spatial axis, combined with commercial, service, and tourism hotel development areas, meeting current regulatory standards. The planning area covers approximately 44.1 hectares.
Simultaneously, a spatial axis connecting the Tay Ho Tay urban centre, West Lake, West Lake Peninsula, Red River, and Co Loa Citadel will be established. The plan will focus on preserving, restoring, and exploiting characteristic cultural, landscape, along with protecting West Lake, Dam Tri Lake, and existing temples and pagodas, while integrating architectural landscape spaces with surrounding projects.
Additionally, the plan proposes to connect urban underground spaces and parking with the city's overall technical infrastructure, improving technical and transportation infrastructure, while protecting West Lake's ecological water environment and the surrounding area.
Hanoi People's Committee has assigned Tay Ho People's Committee to coordinate with Hanoi Authority for Urban Planning and Architecture and Hanoi Urban Planning Institute to publicly announce the approved detailed planning for relevant organisations and citizens.
