Indian healthtech startup CareMother by Doto Health is expanding its presence in Vietnam to tap into the growing healthcare market.
CareMother by Doto Health provides personalised care with innovative solutions for pregnant women. The startup has taken a major step in advancing maternal and child healthcare in Southeast Asia.
Through a strategic partnership with nonprofit organisation FHI 360, a Vietnam-based initiative Alive & Thrive, and the Quang Tri provincial Department of Health, CareMother is now supporting the local healthcare system with its digital health solutions. The startup is onboarding various partners to ensure the availability of CareMother products and scale up operations.
During the 2025 annual conference and knowledge exchange in Quang Tri on May 28, CareMother signed an MoU to drive impactful change using its AI-powered MedTech solutions and conception of a newborn monitoring platform.
This cross-border collaboration is designed to harness innovative digital health solutions to address persistent challenges in reducing maternal and infant mortality.
CareMother demonstrated the Wireless Fetal Monitor at Dakrong District Hospital in Quang Tri, showcasing how expectant mothers can move freely during testing while doctors monitor live results remotely.
By integrating CareMother’s AI-powered platform, the initiative will enable real-time diagnostics, remote monitoring, and data-driven decision-making, empowering frontline healthcare workers and enhancing healthcare delivery in underserved areas. This was well received by stakeholders, who appreciated the platform's potential to improve access and quality of maternal care.
According to a report by Incorp, Vietnam’s digital health sector is gaining momentum following regulatory reforms that authorise telemedicine. Investments in electronic medical records, centralized health data systems, and AI-powered diagnostics are accelerating. The digital health market is projected to reach nearly $906 million in revenue by 2024, with a compound annual growth rate of more than 7.7 per cent through 2028, making it a prime focus for tech-enabled healthcare investors.
