Zeek, an innovative regional logistics solution provider from Hong Kong, is opening the new year on the back of strong momentum in Southeast Asia, now also offering its services to Hanoian residents and companies.
Following its foray into Ho Chi Minh City in Q4 2020 and its successful partnership with Circle K Vietnam, Zeek has expanded its footprint with its launch in Hanoi in November.
Besides Vietnam, the intelligent logistics technology company has bolstered its regional presence with its Malaysian expansion in the same year.
To date, its products – the 30-min delivery service ZeekNow and other offerings such as ZeekDash and ZeekSolutions – are available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
According to John Nguyen, head of business at Zeek in Vietnam, the company is committed to empowering firms and startups with limited budgets and in-house capabilities with the technology to accelerate quick-commerce (q-commerce) adoption.
“We have shifted towards leveraging in-house riders to empower our partners with consistent delivery and smart logistics support in the new normal and beyond,” said Nguyen, adding that his rider fleet has also helped numerous small- and medium-sized food and beverage businesses stay afloat in this difficult period.
Zeek brings fast commercial experiences to customers of CK GO, allowing products to be received within 30 minutes.
Moreover, through the ZeekSolutions Fleet Management module, the company has helped drive automated rider management and enhanced transparency for Pizza Hut’s value chain across Vietnam.
Michael Lin, head of operations at Pizza Hut Vietnam shared, “Following the launch of our 100th store in Vietnam, we have partnered with Zeek to manage our delivery fleet better and provide exceptional customer services. With Zeek’s app, we can easily locate orders on the way to customers’ houses and manage resources more effectively. Also, Zeek supports us in the event of an order overflow during peak hours or when our riders are busy.”
According to the e-Conomy SEA 2021 report by Google, Temasek and Bain, Vietnam's e-commerce is estimated to increase by 32 per cent within five years to reach $39 billion in 2025.
In addition, 78.7 per cent of internet users have made an online purchase in 2021 based on a study conducted by We Are Social.
The accelerated pace of e-commerce adoption has pushed merchants to the q-commerce era where the delivery lead time is expected to be less than three hours.
