Liberty Insurance leaves mark at 2025 Insurance Asia Awards with dual wins

Liberty was granted Automobile Insurance Initiative of the Year – Vietnam for its comprehensive auto insurance product, as well as Technology Excellence Initiative of the Year – Vietnam for its premium healthcare product.

These latest recognitions bring Liberty’s total wins at the IAA to seven, with three Automobile Insurance Initiative of the Year awards (2022, 2023 and 2025), three International General Insurer of the Year awards (2022-2024), and Technology Excellence Initiative of the Year – Vietnam (2024).

Established in 2016, the annual awards honour outstanding insurance companies and innovative initiatives in the region. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the awards, with a rigorous evaluation system based on uniqueness and innovation, efficiency and impact across the industry, dynamism, flexibility, and sustainability.

This year’s awards are a testament to Liberty Insurance’s product development strategy and market approach in a sustainable and long-term direction. AutoCare, one of Liberty’s flagship products, has achieved a three-year winning streak. It demonstrates Liberty’s leadership in embracing the green vehicle trend in Vietnam. With a flexible design and outstanding benefits, AutoCare delivers an international-standard insurance experience.

AutoCare provides comprehensive insurance for the vehicle body and electric vehicle (EV) batteries, even in the event of flooding or natural disasters, meeting the comprehensive protection needs of vehicle owners. Coverage is also extended to the vehicle registration and inspection period, accompanying customers from the very first stages of vehicle ownership. Liberty is the first international general insurer in Vietnam to provide a toll-free, 24/7 hotline for traffic assistance, consultation, claims, and rescue.

Moreover, Liberty actively promotes a safe driving culture by sending weather, flood, and traffic risk alerts to customers via SMS and a mobile app, raising public awareness around accident prevention and asset protection.
