The company was honoured in the Social Responsibility category for its role as a pioneer in the circular economy–marking the second year in a row it has received this recognition.
The Corporate Sustainability Awards (CSA 2025) held on July 15 in Ho Chi Minh City are jointly organised by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine and a prestigious panel of judges including representatives from HSBC, PwC Vietnam, Talentnet, the Institute for Circular Economy Development (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), and VinaCapital, among others.
The awards aim to recognise businesses that drive sustainable development and promote environmental and social equity initiatives.

Mondelez Kinh Do was ranked among the Top 30 Outstanding Foreign Invested Enterprises (FIEs) for 2025 at the prestigious Golden Dragon Awards in April, organised within the Vietnam Connect Forum.
This was the third consecutive year that Mondelez Kinh Do had received the accolade, recognising its significant contributions to economic growth, innovation, green transition, and corporate social responsibility.
As a member of Mondelēz International, Mondelez Kinh Do has been serving Vietnamese consumers for a decade with trusted brands such as Cosy, Kinh Do, Solite, AFC, Oreo, Ritz, LU, Toblerone, and Cadbury.
The company continues to assert its role through quality products and a sustainable growth model, anchored in four key pillars: sustainable packaging, responsible sourcing, climate action, and positive social impact.

As part of its commitment to advancing a circular economy for paper and plastic, the company has partnered with leading organisations to collect, sort, and recycle consumer packaging waste.
To enhance packaging sustainability, it has adopted recyclable materials, reduced plastic content, minimised ink use, and optimised designs to lower environmental impact.
In terms of ingredient circularity, a standout initiative is its collaboration with Australian social enterprise Green Connect to convert food waste into animal feed and support egg production.
Since 2024, hundreds of tonnes of food waste have been collected through this scheme. Additionally, Mondelez Kinh Do is transitioning to fully utilizing cage-free eggs for selected product lines, while developing sustainable supply chains in partnership with both local and international providers.
To reduce its climate and environmental impact, the company has adopted green energy solutions across its operations. At its factory in the northern province of Hung Yen, solar power systems have been integrated into daily production processes, marking a key step towards cleaner manufacturing.
Mondelez Kinh Do also aims to create positive social impact through community-focused initiatives, such as its partnership with Foodbank Vietnam to provide food assistance to underserved communities, and the donation of used computers to students in need.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lien, Corporate and Government Affair lead at Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam, said, "We are honoured to be recognised again at the Corporate Sustainability Awards. Over the past 10 years, we have placed sustainable development at the core of our business strategy, contributing to Vietnam’s green growth objectives while minimising our environmental footprint. We believe adaptability, investment in circular economy models, sustainable supply chains, and human development are key drivers of long-term value for our business."

Understanding the heartfelt longing of those unable to celebrate Lunar New Year with their families, Mondelez Kinh Do continues its creative and meaningful 'Loi Moi Sum Vay' (Special Invitation) campaign for 2025.

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry launched the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) on June 5, marking the 10th consecutive year of its implementation under governmental guidance.

The Packaging Recycling Organisation Vietnam reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with the Vietnamese government on June 11 to promote a circular economy and achieve the vision of a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful Vietnam.
