Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting on June 23 with ministries and agencies in Hanoi about an exhibition of socioeconomic achievements to mark the 80th anniversary of National Day from August 28 to September 5.
Expected to take place at the National Exhibition Centre in Hanoi, the exhibition will display the socioeconomic achievements realised over 80 years of building, protecting, and developing the country.

There will also be other activities such as fairs, food stalls, tourism, handicrafts, art shows, conferences, and seminars.
Ministries, agencies, and units are already planning their exhibition spaces, with entertainment and service spaces for visitors.
The government has established a steering committee and issued a plan for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the standing body of the steering committee, has met with 63 cities and provinces to work on how to implement the events with central ministries, agencies, and departments.
The PM said that the exhibition should be rich in content, but would be difficult to organise in such a short space of time.
“All relevant authorities must participate with the highest spirit and responsibility so that the event can be organised to ensure inclusiveness, comprehensiveness, objectivity, honesty, and effectiveness,” he said.

The Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (VILOG 2025) is set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City in July, highlighting the transformative power of digital solutions and strategic partnerships in fostering a greener, more efficient logistics sector.

Vietnam is expected to inagurate the 90-hectare National Exhibition and Convention Center in Dong Anh district, Hanoi in August.
