VIR will host a symposium on March 5 with the participation of representatives from the SSC and various securities companies.

VIR will host a symposium on March 5 with the participation of representatives from the State Securities Commission (SSC) and various securities companies, aimed at providing in-depth stock perspectives and valuable information for investors.

After experiencing several fluctuations in 2023, the stock market has finally stabilised and is experiencing growth as it continues to play a crucial role in mobilising medium and long-term capital for the economy.

Looking further ahead into 2024, the stock market presents both opportunities and challenges. In this context, establishing a sustainable market foundation requires investor confidence, supportive policies, capital flow, and a supply of quality stocks.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged the implementation of necessary measures to upgrade the Vietnamese stock market from a frontier market to an emerging market by 2025.

“Vietnam will continue to maintain macroeconomic stability this year and ensure balance in political and social factors to boost investor confidence. The focus is on addressing concerns to meet the challenges of this upgrade and fulfilling our promises and commitments,” PM Chinh said.
